DOCTORS ARE ON STRIKE IN KERKUK AFTER THE KILLING OF TURKMEN NEUROSURGEON

DOCTORS ARE ON STRIKE

 

The strongest reaction to the murder of Neurosurgeon Dr.Yıldırım Demirci by terrorists came ‎from doctors.
Today the doctors in Kirkuk State Hospital and Azadi hospital went on strike. The doctors ‎manifested their feelings against the incident today by shutting down their surgeries.
The health personnel in Kirkuk state hospital refused to work today and demanded that the ‎murderers of Dr.Yıldırım and his brother Zeyneabidin be found and brought before justice. ‎The director of the hospital Kerim Veli Cemil spoke on Türkmeneli Television and vigorously ‎condemned the incident. The head of Turkmen health workers association Celil Otrakçı said ‎that they had gone on strike to protest the attack directed at Turkmen doctor Yıldırım ‎Demirci.

Kirkuk City Deputy Chief of Police Colonel Adil Zeynelabidin and the doctors said that ‎Dr.Yıldırım was a man of science and the loss of his demise did not only affect his family but ‎all the inhabitants of Kirkuk. In the meantime, the Kirkuk Doctors Syndicate and Kirkuk ‎Pharmacists Union declared their strikes. The doctors and pharmacists refused to open their ‎workplaces in reaction to the martyring of Dr.Yıldırım Demirci. The head of Dental surgeons ‎union of Kirkuk Dr.İbrahim Halil Said and head of Turkmen Doctors Union Fuad Zeydan ‎said they would go on strike to protest the attack which had cost the life of Dr.Yıldırım. ‎
